I know I’m going to get some hate for this, but I have no idea how people drink their coffee black. I’ve tried it at least a couple times, and I just don’t get the appeal. Coffee as a flavor for milk, ice cream or frappe? Sign me up. Coffee straight black, no sugar, no creamer, no anything? Nope to the second power. When I drink coffee – I want All. The. Things.  In it. All of them.

Caramel Mocha Coffee Frappe

Which is where I ended up with this crazy but incredibly delicious concoction: caramel mocha coffee frappe. Don’t worry – I had others taste test it before I put the recipe up on here to make sure that I hadn’t just lost my mind.  I served them for brunch and they are perfect for that, or if you’re a more reasonable person, as a dessert.

Caramel Mocha Coffee Frappe

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 cups cold coffee
  • ¾ cup chocolate milk
  • 75 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons caramel
  • 2 tablespoon chocolate syrup

Put all ingredients into a blender. Blend for 1 minute. Pour into glasses and serve .

If you want to make them the way I did with the chocolate graham sandwiches and the homemade whipped cream, you can check out those recipes:

The glasses in this photo are also rimmed with Milk Chocolate Frosting, because um, who would I be if my desserts weren’t over the top?
